These Terms & Conditions govern your use of LocksmithNear.com and any listing or service purchased through this website. By completing a purchase or using the platform you agree to these terms in full.
1. About LocksmithNear.com
LocksmithNear.com is an online marketing directory and lead distribution platform. We connect consumers searching for locksmith services with independent, licensed locksmith businesses across the United States. We are a marketing and advertising company — we are not a locksmith business and we do not provide locksmith services. All locksmith work is performed exclusively by the independent businesses we work with.
2. How the Platform Works
LocksmithNear.com operates city-level directory pages across the US. Each page is designed to connect a consumer in need with a qualified local locksmith. There are two ways a page may operate at any given time:
Exclusive City Listing (Page Rental)
A licensed locksmith business may rent a city page on an annual subscription basis. When a city page has an active tenant, the subscribing locksmith's company name and phone number are displayed exclusively on that page. Consumers who visit the page contact the locksmith directly — we do not intercept or route those calls.
Lead Distribution (Untenanted Pages)
City pages that do not have an active subscriber are connected to our network of vetted locksmith service providers. Consumers who submit an inquiry on these pages are matched with an available provider in their area. This allows us to ensure consumers are never left without assistance, regardless of whether a local locksmith has claimed that city.
3. Exclusive City Listings — Subscriber Terms
This section applies to locksmith businesses that purchase an annual city listing subscription.
What is included
- An exclusive city-level page on LocksmithNear.com displaying your company name and phone number
- A dedicated subdomain (e.g. yourcity.locksmithnear.com)
- A professional email address at that subdomain
- Exclusive placement — no other locksmith will be listed for your city while your subscription is active
Exclusivity
While your subscription is active and in good standing, no competing locksmith will be listed on your city page. This exclusivity applies solely to the LocksmithNear.com directory and does not restrict other locksmiths from operating in your area or appearing on other platforms.
Subscription and payment
Listings are sold as annual subscriptions at the price displayed at time of purchase. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. Price changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before your renewal date.
Renewal and lapsed payments
If a renewal payment fails or is not made, the following process applies:
- Reminder: We will send reminder emails before and after your renewal date.
- Temporary suspension (day 14): If payment is not received within 14 days of the renewal date, your phone number will be removed from the page. Your subdomain and email remain reserved — your listing is not deleted and is not made available to other locksmiths.
- Reactivation: You may reactivate at any time by completing payment. Your listing is restored promptly upon confirmation.
- Release (day 90): If no payment is received within 90 days of the renewal date and you have not responded to communications, we reserve the right to release the city and make it available to other locksmiths.
Refund policy
Because your city page is built and activated immediately upon payment — and your city is removed from the market for other buyers — we do not offer refunds once setup is complete. If a technical error on our part prevents your page from going live, we will resolve it promptly or issue a full refund at our discretion.
Your listing content
You are responsible for ensuring your company name and phone number are accurate at signup. One correction per subscription year is included at no charge. Additional corrections may be subject to an administration fee.
By subscribing you warrant that you are a legitimate, licensed, and operating locksmith business and that all information provided is accurate. We reserve the right to remove listings that are found to be fraudulent, unlicensed, inactive, or in violation of applicable law, without refund.
4. Leads & Traffic — No Guarantee
LocksmithNear.com makes no guarantees regarding the volume of calls, leads, or website traffic your listing will generate. Directory performance and search engine ranking depend on many factors outside our control. The service is sold as a professional web presence and directory listing — not as a guaranteed lead generation service.
5. Consumer Use of the Directory
Consumers who use LocksmithNear.com to find a locksmith do so at their own discretion. LocksmithNear.com is a marketing platform and does not employ, supervise, or vouch for any locksmith listed in the directory. We are not party to any agreement between a consumer and a locksmith, and we are not responsible for the quality, pricing, licensing, or conduct of any service provider found through this platform.
Consumers are encouraged to verify that any locksmith they hire holds the appropriate state or local licence before work begins.
6. Intellectual Property
The LocksmithNear.com domain, subdomain structure, directory design, and all associated content remain the intellectual property of LocksmithNear.com. A subscription grants the subscriber a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the assigned subdomain and email address for the duration of their active subscription only.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocksmithNear.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, any interruption to your listing, or any transaction between a consumer and a service provider found through this directory. Our total liability to any subscriber shall not exceed the amount paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Active subscribers will be notified by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction in which LocksmithNear.com is registered.
