LocksmithNear.com is an online marketing directory that connects customers with independent, licensed locksmith businesses across the United States. We are a marketing and advertising platform — we are not a locksmith company and we do not provide locksmith services. All locksmith work is performed by the independent businesses listed in our directory.

2. What We Collect

From locksmith businesses that subscribe to a listing:

• Full name and email address of the account holder
• Company name and phone number
• Service area (city and state)
• Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details

From visitors searching the directory:

We do not collect personal information from visitors. The directory is browse-only — no forms, no sign-ups required. We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes only.

3. How We Use Your Information

For locksmith subscribers, your company name, phone number, and service area are displayed publicly on your listing page. That is the core purpose of the service. Your name and email are used to:

• Manage your account and annual subscription
• Route customer leads and inquiries to your business
• Send renewal reminders and payment receipts
• Contact you about your listing if needed
• Send you information about other products and services we offer (see section 5)

For visitors, we use anonymised analytics data only to understand site usage and improve the directory.

4. Stripe & Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and operates under its own privacy policy. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

5. Commercial Communications

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

• Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send
• Emailing support@locksmithnear.com with the subject "Unsubscribe"

Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional emails about your listing (renewal notices, receipts, account alerts).

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. The only third parties who may process your data are:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Our hosting provider — server infrastructure only
• Email service providers — for sending transactional and marketing emails you have consented to receive
• Google Analytics — anonymised, aggregated visitor data only

7. Public Information

Your company name, phone number, city, and listing URL are publicly visible in the directory. Do not enter personal information in these fields that you do not wish to be publicly visible.

8. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources). This data is aggregated and anonymised. Google Analytics uses cookies; you can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.

Beyond Google Analytics and Stripe's payment flow, we do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking tools.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active or as required by law. If you do not renew, we may retain records for up to 2 years for accounting and dispute resolution purposes, after which personal data is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
